Parc Broekhuizen values your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties other than those listed below for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the related services provided by Parc Broekhuizen.
The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 25/05/2018, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires.
This privacy policy describes which information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions this information can possibly be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide to us.

About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it or have it stored, how we protect it and for whom the data is transparent.
Personal data that we process
Parc Broekhuizen processes your personal data because you use our services and / or because you provide them yourself.

Special and / or sensitive personal data
We do not process special and / or sensitive personal data.
Our website and / or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without this permission, please contact us at info@parcbroekhuizen.nl and we will delete this information.
Automated decision making
Parc Broekhuizen does not make decisions about matters that can have (significant) consequences for people based on automated processing. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without human intervention.
Purpose of the data processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing other than mentioned in this privacy policy. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask you for explicit permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative or legal obligations.
These third parties are all bound to secrecy on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Parc Broekhuizen collects and processes your data for the following purposes:
– Handling your or our payments
– Sending our newsletter and / or advertising brochure
– To be able to call or e-mail you if necessary to carry out our services
– To inform you about changes to our services and products
– To deliver goods and services to you
– Parc Broekhuizen analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and to tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
– Parc Broekhuizen also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as information that we need for our tax return.
Retention period of personal data
Parc Broekhuizen stores your data as long as you are our customer. This means that we keep your data until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. On the basis of applicable legal obligations, we must, among other things, keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. Parc Broekhuizen, however, does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realize the goals for which your data is collected.
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Sharing of personal data
Parc Broekhuizen does not sell your data to third parties. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Parc Broekhuizen remains responsible for these processing operations.
MailChimp
We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will see the “unsubscribe” link. You will no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share information with third parties.
iDEAL
We use the iDEAL platform via ING to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. iDEAL via ING processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. iDEAL via ING has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. iDEAL via ING reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), iDEAL via ING shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All the above mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of iDEAL via ING’s services for which they engage third parties. iDEAL via ING does not store your data for longer than allowed by the legal terms.
Bookings
Reserving a table in our restaurant is done through Seat Me. We have a processor agreement with Seat Me to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.
Reviews
We collect reviews via various platforms. If you leave a review, you are obliged to provide your name, place of residence and e-mail address. Our review partners share this information with us, so that we can link the review to your order or restaurant or hotel visit and use your feedback to improve our services.
Where appropriate, Parc Broekhuizen may be obliged to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations on the basis of a legal obligation. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.
Your rights
Under the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. We explain below which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights.
Right of inspection
You always have the right to view the data that we process or have processed that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who hold this data at the e-mail address known to us, stating the category under which we have stored this data.
Right to correction or deletion
You always have the right to have the data that we process or have processed that relate to or can be traced back to your person. You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the link that we send with our email news items. You can also submit a request to us via our privacy contact person (see bottom of this document).
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to limit the data that we process or have processed that relate to your person or that can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you remove the restriction.
Right to transferability and / or right to object
If you want to make use of your right to object and / or right to data portability or if you have other questions / comments about data processing, please send a specified request to our privacy contact.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.
Parc Broekhuizen will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within 30 days.
Parc Broekhuizen would also like to point out that you always have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly. Security of personal data
Parc Broekhuizen takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us via info@parcbroekhuizen.nl.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy has consequences for the way in which we process already collected data regarding you, we will inform you by e-mail.
