Arturo Dalhuisen
From January 2022, Arturo Dalhuisen will be responsible for the kitchen of Restaurant Voltaire. Arturo cooks for this at, among others, Restaurant Daalder and obtained his first Michelin star in The White Room of Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam. He was also sous chef at Jacob Jan Boerma in De Leest *** for 3 years, won the Dutch National Championships for Young Chefs up to 25 years old in 2010 and was one of the young chefs who was followed in the culinary documentary ‘De Nieuwe Garde’.
When he got the chance to work at Restaurant Voltaire, he didn’t hesitate for a moment. It is clear that he wants to realize his dream in this place in the Netherlands. The place is so unique and diverse that he couldn’t imagine a better location to set up his own signature. One with a historic vegetable garden, where plenty of herbs, vegetables and fruits grow that combine wonderfully with the elegant, light cooking style that is so typical for Arturo.
