Ewout Eleveld

The past 17,5 years Ewout was the Head Chef behind Jacob Jan Boerma in Restaurant De Leest*** in Vaassen and together with Jacob Jan Boerma he was responsible for the impressive development of this restaurant with the clear highlight when they received 3 Michelin stars in 2013. Together they were also responsible for many international events.

The closure of De Leest coincided with the first developments of the concept of Bistro LOF, a second restaurant for Parc Broekhuizen. We immediately asked Ewout to make the switch and to be involved in the developments from the very first moment. After the complete renovation of the monumental farm and the construction of the vegetable garden (based on the historical design of the vegetable garden at the time), LOF opened its doors in 2021 and is now an integral part of the Parc.

Ewout will also be closely involved in our annual International Gourmet Festival Chefs at the Parc.

Ewout: “The first edition of Chefs at the Parc in 2019 was fantastic with so many positive reactions from guests. For me personally it was great to see so many colleagues again after I had the opportunity to cook with them on a regular basis. This 2nd edition will also be unique and I look forward to hosting the lunch in Bistro LOF. All preparations are already in full swing so I can’t wait!”
